I have no record but I have been seized (right word?) by the police, the whole twisting the arm behind the back so you'll bend over and be passive because of pain. But I was released afterward with no follow up.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

no arrests, no criminal record. Like Flubber, an arrest would be quite damaging to my legal career, probably not career ending, but not pleasant for me.

also, since I talk to convicted felons on a near daily basis, it adds quite a perspective to the situation.

No seriously, I had to pay double the amount of the fine to a charitable organization not to get a criminal record. It's called a conditional absolution.

Like for breaking and entering, the fine was 550$ plus a criminal record, I had to pay 1100$ to centraide rosemere not to get a record.

seems like you just need to break the law as profitably as possible to pay the fine for breaking the law

No problems with the law ever.

Anyways, a crminal record is different from an arrest record. Just becuase you were arrested does not mean you will have a crminal record, after all, until you plead guilty or are convicted, you have not been found to have committed a crime.

Like I've confessed before in similar threads, I was once charged with indecent exposure. But the charges were dropped, since they couldn't make it stand up in court.

I've never been arrested or convicted of a crime, though I've broken a good number of laws. I broke the sodomy laws in Utah (holding hands) for instance.

Thankfully my record is squeaky clean. Well, except for that one thing in middle school. But they expunge your record once you turn 18 so I'm free and clear now.

I've been close a lot of times though.

Never been charged. So technically, I would argue I have never done anything illegal.

technically...smechnically, that escape is way too easy.

Regarding sex laws. Don't think I've violated any overhere but I'd probably get sentenced to life in the several states in the US.

Uhm, I find it a little unsettling that nobody seemed to get my joke about the indecent exposure business.
