Calgary wins the NW.
Calgary has won every single season series vs NW teams.

Kipper for MVP.

What's Vancouver's record vs Colorado?

If Colorado loses both remaining games, Vancouver and Edmonton would both be in the playoffs if Vancouver has won the season vs Colorado.

Assuming the Canucks beat SJ.

Vancouver has no leadership.

Vancouver and Edmonton both need wholesale changes next season. K-Lo, MacTavish and the whole gang need to stop being buddy-buddy and fire people.

There's something not quite right in Vancouver, and I might not call it the players.

Edmonton have a system, unfortunately the players and coaches lapse into periods of thinking the team is full of superstars and don't have to follow it.

MacT is on thin ice, but he'll be safe if they make it into the playoffs. Next year is another year of experience for key parts of the team (the forwards) and a dissapointing result would be harder for MacT to live down.

As for Lowe, he is made in the shade. That goalie you and KH laughed at is 2.06 and .926 in the 5 games previous to this single goal.

If the Edmonton ownership team had any sense, he'd be gone.

He won't win you a cup or take you far into the playoffs, he wasn't worth a single prospect.

How soon you forget the importance of those 10 to 15 points that Kipper stole for Calgary.

Poor Canucks. However, I hope this will wake both the players and management up that better performance is required. The west coast laid back attitude always seems to infect the Canucks.

On a different topic, may I suggest that next year, or maybe even for the playoffs this year, we create two threads: 1 for Asher to disagree with everyone that wishes to trade barbs with him; and a 2nd for everyone else.

Just being in the playoffs for a round is worth ~5mil, so I've heard. That means keeping him and Samsonov.

I'll take it. The Oilers didn't need a 1st round pick in an off year. You forget we have scoring leaders playing junior because KLowe wanted to give them time to develop.

Schremp is gonna have a rocking rookie year if things progress as they should.

Hemsky, Horcoff, Smyth, Samsonon, Schremp, Stoll, Peca, Pisani... and then 3 20 goal Dmen.

The NW is gonna be a shooting gallery next year.
