che, I am saying they should change that. That is if the women lies about it birth control or medical reasons.

Today on the radio they were talking about this exact issue, and there was story after story about women lying to the guy about being on birth control for one reason or another...from getting out of the military to hoping for marriage.

Well, I agree, if you see my first post on the issue and you can show that you did not want to have children and were trying to prevent having children and not simply laying all the responsibility on the woman. If you can show the woman is lying, you should be able to force an adoption, since the kid needs better parents and society shouldn't be forced to pick up the burdern either.

Well, I agree, if you see my first post on the issue and you can show that you did not want to have children and were trying to prevent having children and not simply laying all the responsibility on the woman. Considering all that the lawsuit is really doing is trying to get a guy who was lied to by a woman to not have to pay child support, this is all that will really happen from this lawsuit if it doesn't fail.

We don't know he was lied to. All we know is she said she couldn't get pregnant. It's possible she thought that was the case. I knew a woman who said she couldn't get pregnant and had lots of unprotected sex with many different partners. She ultimately ended up having two babies, but that was nearly a decade after engaging in loads of unprotected sex. Something in her changed, and she got pregnant, maybe even by her husband.

Yes, we don't know that...but hopefully the lawsuit will help figure things out in this particular case. That is what the case is about and all.

why does it matter if she lied? And an it be proven? I mean really its is word against hers. He didnt take the precautions therefore should be held responisble. I told tuber i cant have kids i have had the surgery but what happens if them tubes reonnect and i do get pregnant
did i lie no cause i did go through the surgery to try and ensure that it will not happen again. if tuber doesnt want kids then he needs to protect himself. It falls on him to.

It could be proven. She might have said the same to other guys who could testify. If she can't get a doctor to testify she was informed of that, then it could be seen as lying to a jury.

And tubes tied isn't completely 100%...better than a condom, but I'm not arguing that a guy shouldn't have to pay just because a condom breaks.

Conversly, if a woman had sex with a man who told her he was infertile, he could be wrong and she could get pregnant. If she did not believe in abortion, now she would be saddled with being pregnant for months, and then has a choice to make.

There is inherent risk in sex. IN having sex, you should be stepping up the the responsibility of it as well.
