Your quotes seem to indicate that you believe that many of the poorer law school types go into the military, instead of non-profits, because they can't afford non-profits. Not true. More lawyers out of law school go work for non-profits than JAG.

Yeah, it'd be nice to go into non-profits pretty soon but a lot of people just can't afford that. Like Zkribbler just stated, they typically have to work many hours to just meet loan payments on time.
