      Yeah yeah...jerk. I have been soaking it, it hasn't exactly been coming off (although progress is being made). I thought someone had some "trick" to do it...

        I just soak it for a bit, then scrap a bit, soak, scrap ....

          Soak it in hot, soapy water. Then scrub it. Repeat as needed.

          Next time, STIR the rice.

                  Additionally, simmer for a while if it is particularly stuck to the bottom of the pan...add some detergent...it will come off a treat...

                    Buy a new pan.
                    Or better yet, buy a rice cooker (DrSpike's got one so they must be economically worthwhile. ), and throw the dirty pan away.

                      I have found a saucepan to be more than adequate for rice cooking. And believe me, I cook a mean rice
