And no it wasn't a private remark among friends or whatnot, it's basically the DPP's platform! Their campaign was about closing the borders and kicking the present Muslims in Denmark out.
To say that "you can interpret it" as a call for expulsion and that makes it different than an explicit call for expulsion is as daft as saying you can't see why the picture of Muhammed with a bomb turban is offensive.
