These "dream-team" tournaments are usually full of surprises. Tre Kronor has not performed well in the last 5-10 years, despite having very strong teams in most tournaments.

CO, I have a bad feeling about us this year. Our journey has started with series of bad lucks, as you can see that 6 players are out already. This means that we can come up with only 2 strong lines, 2 lines that are of the caliber needed... and 1 mediocre, and 1 weak

But at least you're looking strong. Forsberg has had some injuries though, I think he will be the key player with Sundin.. that's two powerful centers there.

To think that I have hockey tickets and I don´t actually give a damn about hockey. But the Hockey arena was too just awesome looking. And I can´t miss Finland being assraped.

Franit, don't worry, it'll be one of the best hockey all year, minus NHL playoffs. So, it'll be fast, hard hitting, lots of action, and even if you don't like hockey, chances are you could be still entertained (because it's very good level, superstars).

So at least we're getting some players with charisma..

Hah, McCabe is on the team? I mean sure he's making huge results in points, but with such offensive lines, you don't need that McCabe, just like you said I agree, you need defenseman who defends.

This is not prolly what we experience, we do actually need Joni Pitkänen, he is pretty offensive but he's quite fast so we just have to trust he performs with his defense duties.

I'm still surprised McCabe makes it into team Canada though. How many D-men you named? 7?

It's not official, but with Jovocop injured and Niedermeyer questionable, the taxi squad (including McCabe) is going to replace at least Jovocop, and maybe Niedermeyer also.

Asher, haha, in world cup, they usually played every other game, meaning that they wouldn't dress up the same night for the obvious reasons.

But that changed against the US in semifinals and it worked, they just played hard and nice. Against Canada.. it didn't work

Yeah I think we can really take Sweden into a big rumble of emotions, I mean it's always heated between us no matter what level, day or game but with Ruutu and Nieminen it'll be sweet. Like in the WC, Ruutu threatened to kick .. who was it, can't remember his name now, anyway he was pretty hot in the game so Ruutu told the Swedish press he'll go into his hotel room and kick his ass.

Naturally that never happened, but I hope he makes few headlines in Torino as well, little psychological games

Of course we might have a chance against bigger teams, if both Ruutu and Nieminen performs and agitates opposing players, I mean if we can get some PPs, I think we have a shot there. We have two good lines, both able to score and should score on PP so.. and everyone knows in the rink, keep calm, but if you watch those two faces, even Jebus would think about smashing their faces. I think they are important players, but we can't afford them to be in the penalty box alone. Also I think we could fair well in 4 vs 4 so .. here's to two agitators, keeping the dream alive!
