    Are you sure? As far as I can tell, a human baby's skull size in relation to its body size to a human adult's skull size in relation to its body size is comparable to chimps. IOW, our heads are overall bigger.

        That's a 19th century way of looking at things. Back then people thought of themselves as the height of evolution and everything was a progression to them. The problem is evolution doesn't work that way. Instead all that matters is spreading your genes.

            Yep, I'm sure, and I'm not refering to size, but morphology. As a chimp matures, it develops various skull characteristica such as a forward-jutting face, browridges, and a backset skull-spine connection, whereas the human skull keeps closer to the condition of human and chimp infants.
