so if say, a Wellesley grad is nominated for SCOTUS, and it turns out she once signed a petition saying Wellesley should remain all female and not go coed, would that make her ineligible for SCOTUS?
Single sex colleges for both genders still existin the USA, and there existence is not considered prima facie discrimination IIUC. I fail to see that everyone who wanted Princeton to stay all male was a an evil sexist, let along a racist.
edit, pardon, there are actually only a handful of all male colleges left - but AFAIK they are not considered in violation of any laws on discrimination - there are several dozen all female schools left, and there is a growing body of evidence that single sex education is helpful to women, esp in the sciences.
