If you look at the CNN.com video (unless, of course they edit out this part) they show her all sunny and happy one moment and as Sen. Graham began his spiel about Judge Alito NOT being a bigot (despite the fact he has on his resume the fact he was a member of a college group with a history of racism) she starts snivelling like a little baby, finally excusing herself to go drown in her tears. Good Lord, your husband is being paid a compliment by the senator. Grow a backbone or get out of DC.

This smacks of a totally-staged perfomance. Maybe she was called but passed up the opportunity to play the lead character in the musical Evita and was daydreaming at the confirmation hearing...

If you were capable of paying attention instead of accepting rightwing talking points that "Judge Alito is just a swell guy!" you'd know that he's really not a good candidate for the Supreme Court. He supports a woman's right to accept a man's judgement that she shouldn't have any control over her own body, he supports the workers' right to get shafted by any and all businesses, he honorably recuses himself from cases that directly involve his interests and then presides over cases directly involving his interests and rules favorably to those interests because he holds assets in them, he supports a minorities right to be discriminated against with little recourse.

This man has no business being in the US Supreme Court. This isn't about him being a bush-licking sycophant or just another partisan hack, this is about his record. He is hard right and that's just as bad as a nominee being hard left.
