it was hilarious, I was having a conversation about the smoking bans with my sister, and I was making the point that her decision to go into a restaurant or bar where smoking was allowed was the same as a smoker's decision to smoke a cigarette, and she totally does not make the connection between that...

it's amazing, she has no understanding that restaurants and bars are private establishments... and that her decision to go into those establishments is as much a choice as smoking a cigarette

it's like I was speaking a foreign language...

I lost a lot of respect for my sister during that conversation. I thought she was more intelligent than that. But apparantly not.

I could understand if she just disagreed with me. But she was completely oblvious to the concept of private ownership of business.


So I guess this Chicago Poly meet isn't happening this weekend, eh?
