Dayr az-Zafran, a monastery next to Mardin city. It used to be the sit of syrian-orthodox (jacobite) patriarch until he fled it. It is very old of course, there are remains of magnificent byzantine decoration. Unfortunatelly, it is impossible to photo the dome unless You climb some mountain around it."I realise I hold the key to freedom,
