      • On my way to Birbinkilise I've noticed two byzantine churches in a village by the way, close to the place itself. I asked taxi driver to stop there, here's one of the churches.

          • Close to Sille there's a village called Sille. You can easily get a city (cheap!) bus to it, it's not far away. It's great

                            • And we're back to Syria. It's Qal'at Sam'an, the place where St Simon spent his life on a pillar. I've read all about it in Theodoret's work.
