But it was a lockout by management, not a strike.
And ironically, no Super Wal-Marts with their grocery sections have been allowed into the LA area. Inglewood voted down the necessary changes in zoning laws and when the Rosemead city council voted to let WalMart in, da bums were thrown out in the next election.
