If Peyton was a true leader, he'd lead that team to a 22 pt average margin of victory on their way to the Super Bowl championship, doing it "for coach." If he doesn't give the most inspiring team speech of his life in the next day or so, he's nowhere near the leader that the press always makes him out to be.

it appears as if this Dungy situation is going to get ugly...

Chicago sports radio is reporting that there are some things surrounding James' death... I guess James may have had a myspace website that had a lot of pictures with him involved with drugs and guns. But it's not clear if it was his website or not because those sites can be created by anyone. The sports radio show that is reporting this, however, is doing it very responsibly. They are not jumping to any conclusions. And they are informing people that myspace websites can be forged and that this may be a hoax.

I guess Dungy and his son had some problems.

This is really a shame... this whole thing is going to turn into a media ****storm and all the Dungy family's dirty laundry is going to be aired in public.

the medical examiner just said James Dungy died from an apparant suicide... (according to radio)

when you have an 18 year old who dies. You can be sure something is going on. I seriously doubt it was natural causes.

I was thinking it was a suicide, but perhaps he was killed.

Wayne Chrebet is going to retire at the end of this season. I always felt he was a great clutch receiver. Though he's had some injuries over the years. Notably concussions which is also what's ending his career.

Mike Alstott said earlier

"He was here all the time, hanging out in the locker room and with the players on the field and in the locker room. If James wasn't here, it was like: 'Where's James?' He was part of this football team."

He's not there anymore.
