Tampere's quite nice, seemed like a lovely city
I'm more into seeing both urban and rural places. Nature tourism isn't my ticket. I'm however tempted to see Snowdonia, Scotland, Cornwall, Isle of Man (well, maybe Wight too) and the Lake District due to their nature. Or should I say the life around there. Haven't seen too much of the typical English countryside (I hate to use clichés, which this resembles more or less), so that's why renting a car is pretty high on the shortlist for what to do next time I come there. Not to mention there's still plenty left to see in London. There's lots of places I'd like to visit there, so I bet you can expect to have me roaming around there more than once in the future.
Overall I bet not many are interested in seeing the "Manchester of Finland" (comparison based on how there's a waterway running through the city and the history as an industrial city), as tourists mainly anyway care to see the capital and the most typical attractions, which are mainly in Helsinki. Brits however seem to tend to fancy more flying with Concord to Lapland for a quick peek at jolly Santa, reindeers, heaps of snow and... and... well, seeing "extreme" winter conditions (yeah, very extreme when down in the South it's good if we even have any snow for Christmas).
Or at least Santa Claus tourism has usually been what Britons are mostly interested in Finland.
