    • It seems my financiers havent lost their confidence in me, so I might be able to attend. You still got room for one Drogue?

        • Can I come? I'm afraid I couldn't be bothered to read the entire thread, but I'd love to meet coT before he buggers off away from 'poly for a long time, and, of course, the rest of you (some of you again).
So, in one easy to understand post, when is it, and can I stay with anyone? I'm cool with sleeping on the floor, but let me know beforehand so I can bring warm clothes.

Bad memories of Oxford though. Rejected me they did, the bastards. Still, I shouldn't have expected anything less as I was stupid enough to apply for medicine in Magdalen. Why oh why didn't I try and do it in an easier college?
Yeah, they rejected me too. I applied to do English and French at Trinity, but made a complete boll***s of my interview, and another of the second interview the Trinity tutor got me at Queens two days later. Never mind, I don't regret not having got in one bit.

[edit]Though I did pull twice in my two visits to Oxford, which is worth returning for. As long as I don't go out on the town with Brian Blessed, that is.

Yeah, but the chance you'll be there, and getting to meet Pierluigi Collini can't be missed!

                  • I rejected Oxford.

(That is to say I chose not to apply because I didn't like the feel of the place. Exeter, now that is where I would have liked my university to have been located. )
