Er gents, the movie night is being held at the church, so anything on current release is a no-no

March of the Penguins is out on DVD. Haven't seen it yet (dying baby penguins is not something I care to deal with in re: Sophia).

Yeah, it's an interesting film, but it's not all happy "aww, look at the cute animals!" stuff. It's nature, which can be harsh.

Princess Bride is always a classic.

                      More animation films:

Ice Age (as long as the church isn't too hot on evolution). It's got plenty of evolution-y in-jokes only the "grown-ups" will get.

Or a bit better, Finding Nemo (and be sure to see the credits too).

But then both of these are kind of the same calibre as The Incredibles, I'd think.

So actually, how about Spirited Away. A bit more "under the radar" perhaps (ooh! foreign ).
Civilization II: maps, guides, links, scenarios, patches and utilities (+ Civ2Tech and CivEngineer)

You didn't say how old the kids were, but if they're 10+ you might consider Whale Rider.

Despite a good cast this film still managed to suck hard.

I'm not sure how old they are going to be. Could be anywhere from 2-3 to 15 I'd imagine...
