Sorry, for Paris flights from London, you'll need to use EasyJet. Same low cost philosophy, but flies to different places. Easyjet fly to Charles de Gaulle actually too

101 free flights almost anywhere in Europe and all we get are complaints.....

Yeah, but if the only airport you could fly from is Prestwick or somewhere similar silly, it wouldn't be much help

The list I posted above is from that ridiculously remote airport of Stansted.

Yeah, but my girlfriend's parents live near Prestwick!

I agree with PA actually. Seeing the UK without seeing the countryside would be to have a false impression of it. My brother took some of his friends (international students) to the lake district for a week, and they had a whole new idea about what the UK was.

I've walked half Hardian's wall in the bleedin' rain, with a scourging wind high up near Housesteads I can assure you I've had enough of that godforsaken country

But anyways the countryside up north looked a bit depressing and dull (with some great views though and nice some landscape), I guess it's a better in the south however.

                    • Or further North. I've never been a fan or Yorkshire, but there are some stunning parts of Scotland

                      • I used to just walk across Port Meadow and down the river to the Perch or the Trout.

That's enough walking and countryside for me.

                        • I've walked most (well make that many) of the North Downs walks.

                            • I'm sorry, it's true My parents always used to drag me for holidays walking in various parts of the country, the Lake District, Scotland, Dartmoor, Yorkshire, Snowdoniaetc. I can understand the beauty of the many of them, especially Scotland, but I've never been taken by Yorkshire. Just personal I guess.
