What's so impressive about 215000?
We just put up 31000, with a job market a ninth the size. And our unemployment rate is the lowest in 31 years. Which leads me to believe that our employment rate is probably the highest it's ever been.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

You didn't have to deal too much with the hurricanes either.
I've got nothin' against Canada doing well.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. It was the institution of the "free lunch" I had struck. You paid for a drink and got as much as you wanted to eat. For something less than a rupee a day a man can feed himself sumptuously in San Francisco, even though he be a bankrupt. Remember this if ever you are stranded in these parts. ~ Rudyard Kipling, 1891

Or a terrible President running enormous budget deficits, or a populace intent on consuming itself into crushing debt.
What's your point?12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

Dan, I'm just yankin' your chain. But these triumphalist threads every month based on what is at best a moderate gain are getting a bit old.12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

More like "eh" news.
The US went through a pretty long sticky patch back there. It's slowly making up for it.
Fine with me, but this is thread number 3948392 on that fact. And every time Dan posts a number I have to be the bad guy and say "subtract 150 000"...12-17-10 Mohamed Bouazizi NEVER FORGET

It's important to repeat positive stuff because people are sometimes pessimists by nature, which often leads to unrealistic views.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter.
