yea well... selling things at ridiculously cheap prices... someone has to pay dearly for that, but as long as it's not your average customer, who gives a damn right?"An archaeologist is the best husband a women can have; the older she gets, the more interested he is in her." - Agatha Christie

The suppliers who get hurt are generally smaller, inefficient suppliers whose resources could be better used by larger corporations."Yay Apoc!!!!!!!" - bipolarbear

More people should realize, the marketplace is the devil
Walmart delivers what people want - cheap prices. They do everything they can to make it happen. If people don't want to work there - don't. If suppliers can't meet the expectations and make the economies of scale work for them, then Walmart will buy elsewhere.
The market lives, while the inefficient and ineffective move to something else or dwindle and die.

btw the reason I don't shop at walmart is not because the reasons in the article above. But because they censor the music they sell. I don't need some crap corporation telling me I can't hear the **** word (though amazingly I put up with a website that won't let me see the f word.).
And I also don't like the gangs of unruly kids running through the aisles that are too narrow. Although I should note the walmart in the good part of town is a lot nicer. The one in my poor neighborhood sucks. It's all just a bunch of screaming mexican kids. I have nothing against mexicans mind you. I'm just showing you what it's like. I don't like screaming kids of any nationality. Kids should be banned. We need adults only stores.

Only people rich enough to have cars can afford the luxury of shopping at Walmart.“It is no use trying to 'see through' first principles. If you see through everything, then everything is transparent. But a wholly transparent world is an invisible world. To 'see through' all things is the same as not to see.”
― C.S. Lewis, The Abolition of Man
