I can assure you that it was around at 500 CE.

It will be a *****, tho. I'll have to get from this rather barren hill, go to the small fishing village a mile from here, and then get something to ride. Sadly, I don't have any guns so this won't be as easy as it should be.

I have plenty of junk to sell, like clothes, and **** like that, so I think I should be able to buy a horse, and a pottery set to distill alcohol. But it will take a couple of months.

Two words of advice for all of you - boil your water.

BCE = Before Common Era, replacement for BC
