"Some?" You named TWO. Of course you're not going to name 100, because there aren't 100, nor even 10. It's a bull**** claim and yet another example of your BAMing.

Yes, we all know you have a life, as it were. We'll watch in earnest, eager anticipation to see if you can overcome your grief over the guy whom you've been seeing for two weeks going out to club without telling you

That might be for not. Seems he's prime for taking his ball and going home with it.

Silly Fez, always working yourself into such a huff. Why can't you just channel your rage into a little corner of your mind leading to a psychosis in later years like everyone else here?

For there is [another] kind of violence, slower but just as deadly, destructive as the shot or the bomb in the night. This is the violence of institutions -- indifference, inaction, and decay. This is the violence that afflicts the poor, that poisons relations between men because their skin has different colors. - Bobby Kennedy (Mindless Menance of Violence)

Speaking of weasels, why avoid the question of banging hired help?
            He's admitted it.

A far more interesting question: what did they do to the scumbags that gave the bribes?

What DeLay's organization did was analogous to money laundering, and was certainly against the spirit of the Texas campaign finance laws (assuming reports of what happened are reasonably accurate), but my impression is that it does not meet the legal definition of money laundering.

Looking at what happened in a vacuum, I would be inclined to view that kind of effort to circumvent campaign finance laws as unethical even assuming it was not technically illegal. But such issues cannot be looked at in a vacuum because the political system can function properly only if both sides play by the same rules. If DeLay's group went way outside the bounds of accepted behavior in essentially exchanging money that could not legally be given to particular campaigns for money that could, then there is a serious ethical problem even if DeLay is not guilty of a crime. But if similar practices are fairly common in other Texas political organizations, including organizations from both parties, then singling out DeLay and his organization merely because they played the game more effectively than others and a Democratic prosecutor is angry about his party's loss of power would itself be grossly unjust. Without seeing the results of a comprehensive investigation of whether other political organizations used similar tactics, I have no way to reach a conclusion about the ethics of the situation.

As for the rest of the picture, I consider it disgusting how ethical issues so often become excuses for partisan politics. When entire parties are blamed for wrongdoing or ethical lapses by individual members, that turns up the pressure for both parties to gloss over and make excuses for ethical problems instead of doing an effective job of policiing themselves. That helps to contribute to a culture of corruption - especially when we look beyond the mere letter of the law - in both parties.

If American politics are to be cleaned up, we need for our leaders to focus a lot less on partisanship and a lot more on the idea that we should demand high standards of ethics without regard to party. Efforts to improve ethical standards and to address failures to meet those standards need to be bi-partisan and non-partisan, with the two parties working together to address the problems without fear that the other party will deliberately manipulate those efforts for partisan political advantage. Efforts by one party and its supporters to try to portray the entire other party as corrupt work directly against the needed bipartisanship, and raise enormous barriers against the ability of honest citizens from both parties to ally against corruption and low standards of ethics in both parties.

That is not to say that corruption can never be a legitimate political issue. But issues of ethics need to be handled in an ethical way, focusing on the guilty without trying to spread blame to the innocent in an effort to gain partisan advantage.
I should imagine this deserves a response once the frenzy over Fez dies down.

Duhh, it's BAMing because you made a bald-ass assertion that was totally wrong. Like always.

Let's see what your blog says about the incident:

Giancarlo (giancarlo1985)'s profile on Myspace, the place where people come to connect, discover, and share.

                      "Shattered"
                      "Great disarray and sadness"

So you call it this, and DIDN'T think it was a big deal? Come on.

so tell me, are you single?
No...and if I were, what difference would that make?

EDIT: Now I've seen you've restricted viewing the blog entries. Pathetic!

Hey, first off my blogs had to do with my friends, my potential love interest, and my family. There were other issues going on in my life.

So please, shut the **** up.

You are the one who is pathetic. I will restrict my blog entries to myspace friends.

Edit: And those are ****ing personal, if you ****ing can't respect that (like recently) then I'll make them restricted. Maybe if you weren't such an insensitive ******* then I wouldn't react this way.

Doesn't that moot your point? Your initial post was that the Republican Congressman in question owned up to it. So did Clinton. At least Clinton's transgression was about a private sexual affair, not taking bribes in return for votes. Only a complete dumbass would think they're remotely comparable in terms of the seriousness of the transgression.

In what universe is banging a person under your power on the desk of the Oval Office a 'private sexual affair'?
