In RL, do you actually make every decision based on the exact same logic? This is not a one-size-fits-all world.
In football, the coaches every decision is weighed against the needs and success of the team. Each is a separate choice based on a number of factors. The reasons for playing (or benching)a QB can be -- and ARE -- different from the reasons to continue playing a punt returner.
Grossman is a decent alternative, and in the right situation, it would make sense to use him. But that situation has not yet occurred. That's all I'm saying.
