actually right after this you say that
And what I said there was the defense had nothing to do with the victories?

For example, the Ravens are 3-8 this year (4-8 with the win today), yet their defense is 2nd in yards allowed. Their offense though... well, you know.
Sorry, try again.
well, he's 36 years old... and averaging less than 4 catches a game... he's not a cyborg... this is the NFL. It's a rough sport to play into your late 30's.
Like I said about the Vikings recievers:
[q=Imran Siddiqui]And speaking of bad recievers, the top Minny guy has 37 and that's Travis Taylor (yeah, there's a big name reciever). The Vikings pass catchers are Taylor, Koren Robinson (Seahawks castoff), Marcus Robinson (Bears castoff), and Troy Williamson (struggling rookie). Yeah, those recievers make your shudder with fear...[/q]
That'd be less than Smith's catch haul.
No. Leftwich is a skilled QB. He's probably top 10 for sure in the NFL. He has the potential to be a Pro Bowler. Trent Dilfer is not NFL elite. Trent Dilfer is a journeyman lucky to be starting.
They are not comparable.
They are not comparable.
Leftwich is a good manager of the game. His leadership in managing the game makes the Jags better than the paltry passing numbers they put up. The same goes for Dilfer in the 2000 Ravens squad. That team was spirling down when Dilfer was handed the reigns. He managed the game will, added some veteran leadership and the ship steadied and thrived.
