Its always amazing to me. A conspiracy theorist will take a couple of out of their ass assertions and just run with them. . . . and once you assume that any contrary evidence is faked, manipulated etc, its easy to find support for your conspiracy

laurentius, you're the one who actually started this silly topic. You think we're going to trust a cite you bring to the discussion?

And my comment about Wiki was made in response to Blackcat's post about the dangers of spreading knowledge about the CIA.

Which just goes to prove: if you have to explain the joke, it ain't funny.

Now you're assuming the planes had any such fuel...

Thats sad but true. And its precisely the reason why the mysteries or open questions should be answered in a through and scientific manner. In this case there seems to be quite a few unanswered questions. The best defence to the conspiracy theories is of course to try to answer them and have an open dialogue as what exactly could have happened instead of ridiculing those who question the official explanations. I mean it werent the christians who burned Rome nor it were the jews and communists who burned the Reichstag. We've been fooled before, in power politics nothing is sacred and above manipulation.

Total capacity on a 747 is about 57,000 gallons. One of the things that was noted after the attack was that the planes had doubled back soon after taking off on transcontinental flights, so they would have originally carried a lot of fuel in their tanks and they wouldn't have used much of it.

The fuel of the airplanes started the fires but were quickly burnt - the structural damages was caused by these secondarily fires.

There is no scientific reason to support the explosives theory, especially considering the fact that many of us saw a quarter-million pounds worth of aircraft, going over 300 mph, fly into a steel frame building. With EVIDENCE like that, why resort to trying to build contratheories that can never be better suited than the simplest explanation of what happened?
