BTW, football can be fast-paced too. Indoor football is very fast and highly technical.

Here it's football as the number one spectator sport, followed by ice hockey. At third place i'm not sure, maybe speedway.

You have to give football recognition for being so loved and widely watched across the world as it is. There must be something about the game then that attracts people. If everything people wanted was speed they could watch hand ball.
It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

plus, soccer is really gay (not that there's anything wrong with that)

the (main) thing that i really dislike about american sports is that they are so stop-start. you get 30 seconds of play (if you're lucky) and then 2 minutes of them fannying about, then another 30 seconds of play, and so on and so forth for hours on end.

it's hardly surprising that people like you can't understand the beautiful game.

I would watch a soccer game before a bsaeball game. Hockey is the most exiting to watch because of the speed.

I hate watching american football games. I so don't givea **** about that sport.

hey, in football, they are wearing more clothing... so it is less gay...

can't say the same about your sport...
