What's the problem with ATI cards? I have a 9600 XT. So I'm not sure if I'll get this game yet. But I probably will end up getting it tomorrow. I can only hold out so long.

Target didn't have it on 10/27, but Best Buy did (that's when I bought the game). I wouldn't be surprised if Target had it by now. Or Walmart (:makessigntowardoffevil

interesting Best Buy didn't have it in my area (east side of town). It may have been sold out. They had the Civ4 strategy guide though. I checked the mall accross the street, but I forgot EB closed down. Game stop didn't appear to sell PC games. So then I drove down to Fry's. They had both the Special Edition and regular edition listed at $49.99 so I got the SE. And when I got to the counter it only rang up as $39.89!. So I couldn't complain about that.
In summary. Fry's is god. Best Buy sucks compared to them. The only reason I go to Best Buy over Fry's sometimes is it's a lot closer. And I often go to Target over both of those because Target is closer (and I shop there for general pupose items- I don't shop at Walmart). Anyways, now to see if this game actually works...Comment

I didn't see Civ 4 in our local Best Buys either. My wife wants to give it to me for Christmas anyway. Heck, waiting a month or gives them time to come up with patches.
Quake 4 OTOH is available.
