  • What is it about Macedonian flags?

It seems fun, and all the really cool posters are using them () but what is the underlining reason?

    Just to piss off MarkG?

If there is a good enough reason, I'll be happy to join.

Or else... I start a defiant block with another flag!!!

I've actually been to Macedonia before. Skopje was dirty but Lake Orid was very nice.

There's only one honourable way to settle the Greece/FYROM dispute - a good old-fashioned war.

But what's with the smurf avatars? I'd think they are there in sympathy of the UN smurf village massacre, but they started to appear before that... And Peyo died in 92, so it's not homage to him either...

You're in on it with the UN!

It's a trend of protest against one of MarkG's most childish and ridiculous administrative decisions in a long time, and that says a lot.

Don't forget to tell them at every opportunity, that their country is not really Macedonia, but rather FYROM.

Ask taxis to turn on the taximeter, or pay the dumb tourist price, which is 4 euros for anywhere in the city

I should probably note that, at this moment, my bedroom is decked out with Macedonian flags from before Greece made them change it.
