  • How often do you go to church

I intended to go today. I went to what is generally an afternoon service, and found that because of a special speaker they weren't having one this week. Of course, most SDA churches don't have afternoon services, I should get off my lazy butt before noon.

I generally go about once a month to church. I don't think it is required to be a Christian, but I do think that a good church can provide many things that strengthens you as a Christian (of course a bad church can turn you off.. especially with all the hypocricy and clickism that can occur).

Sorry, I voted "Never", but forgot to add that I'd go if I was invited to someone's wedding - and not just the booze-up afterwards (my friends know me too well ).

      Once or twice a year.

Last time was last year to commemorate for myself my deceased father's birthday. It gave me some peace of mind at a somewhat troubled time I had.

And I was at a funeral in January this year.

Maybe once a year.. christmas I try to go.. but I don't always go even then but usually if I'm at church, it would be christmas.

Then of course the normal stuff, weddings, funerals etc. In fact I'll be going to weddings in ....... well, pretty soon, so I'll be in one of them worship temples soon.

With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.

I've stopped going to church when my parents stopped forcing me to go, which was like when I was 9? Then, they didn't go either.

I'm a pantheist nowadays, and created my own fictional religion.

I go every Sunday as long as I'm not working.

As I don't have a religious preference, but my wife does, we do what she wants regarding church. And I do my part to support her by going whenever I can.

never, if you really want to know

Went weekly untill I was 14.
                  Church never connected to me.
(nor did I connect up to them (it?)).

Haven't missed (going to church) for a day.

Nowadays I only attend ceremonies when people have died
Must say it doesn't comfort me at all, but I'm being polite to the family in such cases.

Come to think of it, this summer a friend of mine died, and she was given a beautifull (yet atheist?/agnostic?) service at the cementary.
(and there was plenty to drink and eat afterwards as well )

sorry if I'm drifting from the subject.

never, but I do like to visit churches as a tourist as they're usually nice architectural and historical buildings (mostly in Europe that is)

Although I don't like to go in when mass is taking place - I seems offensive to their beliefs somehow.

Never, I'm not religious. I am, however, thinking about starting a socialist "church."
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...
