50% of our state's budget is paying interests, and our debt is growing with every year. All these lefty anti-cyclical delusions are showing their downside but the left keeps looking away and blaming the right wing think tanks. Please explain me how it is OK that i pay half of my income back to people who I owe money two. And it gets more with every year, mind.

We have three options: do it the lefty way and keep failing. Do it this way and reform. Do it the Nazi way and invade poland. You choose.
Why do you believe these reforms will solve the problem? There have been liberal reforms since Kohl, and the problem has only worsened and worsened.
How would the projected slew of reforms differ so much from the past that it won't be an abysmal failure again?

Treuhand resulted in zilch for the Easties, I agree.
Monetarist fanaticism resulted in zilch for the Europeans (including the Germans), I agree.

So, you thumb-up the fact that Kohl took very liberal decisions, which resulted in abysmal failures and misery for the concerned population?
Congrats, the "reforms" definitely deserve your support

So, you agree that the Treuhand and the monetarist fanaticism were liberal decisions, and pure crap?
Because it was what I meant.

I find it amusing that all these Americans are decrying this, while Echty (not exactly a right winger, mind) is saying that these reforms are needed!
If you look at German economic numbers, I fail to see why ANYONE would support the status quo. Some reform is needed... somewhere. This can't continue for Germany... unless it wants to go the route of Japan during the mid to late 90s.
“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Look, it is also a matter of how you do things and in what context, not only if they can be labelled liberal in some way or not.
The Treuhand thing for example confronted East German producers with the all German market, where they obviously couldn't compete with the west --> crap. Also under Kohl, the 2 currences were exchanged 1-1. same dilemma with local producers (expensive production) --> crap.
The lefty attitude of nowadays wants salaries and pensions in the East to be on the same level like the West, even though the cost of living is much different. talk about leftist equalizing bull**** --> crap.
So it's not a matter of liberal or not, and of CDU or not, but if it's sensible or isn't. Seeing how we have a truth that contains high debts and interest payment, high unemployment and no chances to pay pensions for old people in the near future, I don't give a damn about what you consider "liberal" or not, and you can shout out Kohl as much as you want, just because I support these reforms doesn't mean I'm all for Kohl's economic agenda.
I sincerely hopes that Germany keeps on with their stupid way of hiring and firing people. If they stop the usual practice we risk an unexpected growth and wealth in germany and that some don't want. Currently, germany is busy shooting itself in the foot - when they figure this out and stop doing it, germany will grow more than may be epected.
With or without religion, you would have good people doing good things and evil people doing evil things. But for good people to do evil things, that takes religion.
