I would still laugh at that trailer if the lead characters were a man and a woman. I think the trailer is probably overcompensating for having two guys by being more sentimental than a heteromance trailer would be, and it ends up looking a bit corny.Concrete, Abstract, or Squoingy?

Laughing sometimes is a compensational behavior when you don't know how else to react. I think if you exhibit this kind of behavior you show that you don't have a very high EQ.
Otherwise you have to explain what's so funny about it and if you afterwards say that it wasn't funny at all and that you don't know a single reason, chances are high that you just compensated.Comment
