Odds are the Boston Globe entertainment staff came up with the list during a bawdy night at the bar after putting that night's paper to bed ... God, I'd hope so, considering some of the "sci-fi" shows that only a drunk person would put on *any* list, let alone a best of all-time list.

May the entertainment staff of the Boston Globe have their Galor-class cruiser shot out from under them by a Sovereign-class Federation warship!

Ming... I hear what you are saying about the new BSG... I loved the mini series, but was disappointed in the first 8 or so episodes in season one... I stopped watching it... then, I watched BSG 1x12 "The Hand of God" (season 1 ep 12)... it brought me back to the series...

the writing was bad in the beginning of season 1, but got good around episode 10 or so, and was strong in the end of the season... season 2 was very good.

I would recommend giving it a second chance.
To us, it is the BEAST.

No excuse for Farscape being left out. Should be top 10. New BSG is way to high. Very hard to judge shows tht have only been out for 1-2 years. SG-1 would not have be that high is this list was made in 1998.
