You're not famous enough or rich enough. Brown, the most cash-strapped of the Ivies, has a bit of a reputation for lowering the bar in exchange for a shot at fundraising possibilities or big future donations. IIRC, it worked like a charm with John-John.

The money and fame angle works at all the ivy league schools. Just look how a C- student like Bush got into both just because he came from a wealthy and politically conneted family. America isn't as meritocratic as it thinks it is.
