    • Yes. Actually that was the first time this game where I failed to cross-post with you.

      • The archetype that Mornington Crescent descended from was the ancient Saxon art of "Brycche Yclept Swyve", which featured the careful moving of farm-loads around a network of long-established cart-paths, while avoiding getting bummed by the Vikings. It introduced the concept of blood-feud and 3-round pillaging, which (of course) still shape some of the more classically agressive plays.

In a homage to my ancestors, I play Paddington. Anyone crossing this path in the nest circuit will be required to switch to Middle English or allow free play-through

        • Laz, you're froked and cannot play Paddington while the nest circuit has 2 signal failures in the current thurn. See Hamilton-Neuburger 5.33.12 section (iii).

However, Baker Street would be legal for you.

          • Damn! One of my friends is a lecturer in Middle English. Were he here, I could move with impunity.
As it is, the Dollis Hill loop for you all. Muhahahaha. (meaning, "I admire your horned helmet my well-bearded friend, but can you please take your eyes off my posterior - it is unnerving me somewhat" in Old English)

            • Middle English? Thou shalt not travel to Caledonian Roade.

We thus musteth go to Mill Hill East

Hilarious. "Nest circuit" was a typo- I was actually meaning to type "next circuit".

Which means, of course, that the Paddington move was completely legit, and thus Mornington Crescent is mine.

Another game turned through spacky spelling.

                    • Rather than whining about this obvious game nazism, I shall start a new one (game, not nazism)

In accordance with the bla bla, I'm getting tired.

                      • What an interesting opening move. Unorthodox, but what to do expect from the Germans, who are known for their unorthdox ways. In fact, I'd say that move ranks up there with the famous German pornographer Gerd Pantzdoner who would, as irony would have it, proposition young Mornington Crescent players to star in his movies. Ecthy has indeed studied (uhem) at his knee.

                        Cockfosters, continuing the theme.

                        • Well as long as it was just the knee.

Tooting Bec, a variation on the Broadway move most traditionalists would have expect at this juncture.

                            • Good God! Can anybody not see that Etchy has rused you all into playing the Guderian Envelopment around Mornington Crescent itself?! A move to Camden Town would have completed the envelopment! Luckily I can halt these nuances once and for all, and destroying the encirclement from behind.

                              • Boo! I refuse to play in a game of mornington crescent with such flagrantly anarchist and antihumanist set of moves. Fie!
