why do we need a scapegoat? Why can't we just admit that many people on many different levels made mistakes that led to the regrettable events in New Orleans? Why do we have to turn a national tragedy into an exercise in finger-pointing?
I wasn't the one who came out of the tragedy pointing fingers! It was the dems!

Holding people accountable for MASSIVE FAILURES sounds rational to me.

But then again, I don't support the party of corruption and cronyism.

He was being disingenuous about the meaning of disingenuous!?!

Nah, surely that would require him to actually know the definition of the word 'disingenuous' in the first place...

Basic vocabulary is not a trivial matter...

I'm guessing you both mixed it up with 'indigenous' - which is obviously such an easy thing to do considering they mean two utterly different things...

The icing on the cake is the compounding of the error by thinking you can put 'dis' in front of it...

                        Mr. Trouble never hangs around
When he hears this mighty sound...
"Here I come to save the day!"
That means that George W. Bush is on the way.
Yessir when there is a wrong to right
George W. Bush will join the fight
On the sea or on the land
He gets the situation well in hand
So though we are in danger
                        We never despair
Cause we know that where there's danger
                        He is there!
                        He is there!
                        On the land!
                        On the sea!
                        In the air!
                        We're not worryin' at all
We're just listenin' for his call
"Here I come to save the day!"
That means that George W. Bush is on the way!
"In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed. But they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love. They had 500 years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

I'm surprised that no one here has commented on the fact that the commision, or whatever it will be, will be led by Bush himself, and not someone independent.
