Basically I have nothing againstthis country, really nothing at all (believe me outside this forum Canada is lucky to be in my vocabulary once a year tops), I just made fun of a couple of its citizens.

Ottawa is far from homogenous. And KH is right about the immigration... about 200,000 per year, which for a small country is huge.

Canada is a very different place than it was 30-40 (even 10) years ago. And remember, everyone lives in a few cities, and cities tend to be multicultural.

Not as much with the big EU economies (though we are ahead of all of them), but certainly noticibly more so than Greece. There is less of a per capita GDP difference between you and Mexico than there is between us and you. We also don't rely on handouts from other countries for any part of our economy, although you do to the tune of over 3% of GDP.

I won't dispute that the avergae pay maybe a bit more in Canada. Greek minimum pay is more than the US btw, so maybe more than the Canadian one I wouldnt know. But I still think it's a pitiful example of a country both in history, quality of life and overall tolerance compared to Greece.

Also GDP is not everything if you take into consideration that medical care is all free here (at least in theory). However I dont know howmuch of that canadian GDP you seem to be so proud about goes to health care for example.

Bottom line and with the account of a friend that has been to your country I dont think you're anything that is worth of talk. I consider Croatia more interesting and with more potential than you for example.

As for the "aid" we are the 3rd country in the world in defense spending so I dont mind we getting aid. We give it back with interest for being located here.

Immigration... okay fine... so in 100 years Canada will be more diverse. Big deal.

I looked up in the CIA factbook. Results are pretty inconclusive.

US says 81% white, 12.9% black, however there is no listing for Hispanic, so Hispanics are lumped in either white or black. It may be relevant to note Hispanics are majority in California now.

As for Canada, at least 66% can be considered white, but don't celebrate yet because a whopping 26% is considered "mixed background" and they don't explain what that means. Asian, African, and Arab total is 6%. So, I doubt Canada wins the diversity war.

And really, this discussion is stupid. Each major city in North America has it's own ethnic enclaves. Each has it's own special flavor of diversity.

But my point still stands. Canada has not had to struggle with race and diversity the way America has. America has had riots and major ****storms. Canada has had slapfights.

So basically, of all our arguments:

Canada vs USA diversity = stalemate

Sava not knowing diversity = I WIN

Canada vs USA hardships in race relations = I WIN

            so the conclusion?

            I PWN YOU ALL
To us, it is the BEAST.

But certaintly Canada is more closer to Mexico than Greece. It also doesnt have the glory of Greece. That makes you 100% radical in defending your "riches", it's the only thing you think you have. Which are by far comparable to Greek ones or Italian ones. But if for a minute you believe that glorius countries such as this are richer than you (which in many many economic parameters they are) and that you are left with basically nothing, if your alleged riches and "superior quality of life" are taken away from you, you collapse.
Well Greece certaintly isnt what it was after 2 world wars and a civil war anymore so I dont know what image your stereotypes are cultivating. I just know that you do crap out when the obvious is stated. as it was stated above.

I'm also the harsest critic of Greece in all accounts. I also think I wrong it sometimes and that I'm prejudist against it. That makes me even more capable of calling bull**** when I see it. And your "Canadian superiority of life" compared to Greece is exactly that.

                  Why use "CIA factbook" Sava?

Statscan would provide much more detailed and accurate data. What are you hiding from?

Okay. Statscan is what it sounds like. Statistics of Canada. Google would find it quite easily.

You are proffering US government data. The same government that has been so horrendously wrong in it's past claims.....

I will never understand why some people on Apolyton find you so clever. You're predictable, mundane, and a google-whore and the most observant of us all know this. Your battles of "wits" rely on obscurity and whenever you fail to find something sufficiently obscure, like this, you just act like a 5 year old. Congratulations, molly.

I'm not even sure what half of this means given that it's jibberish, but I'll take a shot.

Other than total output, there isn't a single significant economic indicator where Italy or Greece is higher than us. And perhaps you misunderstood my Mexico analogy - Greece and Mexico are closer in terms of per capita wealth than Canada and Greece are. Meaning, there's a greater difference in prosperity between our two countries than between your country and Mexico.

As for quality of life beyond GDP, as you said earlier, there's a ridiculous gap between our countries as well. How about the UN HDI, which is used to offset pure GDP rankings? Yep, you're not even close to us there. Income discrepancy? Considerably better here. The OECD's subjective well being survey? You're so far below us there it's not even funny. Oh, and our health care is every bit as free as yours.

But you’re right – Greece isn’t what it was, only you can go a lot further back than WWI. You haven’t been the same since Alexander. If you want to be especially generous and conflate Greece with the Byzantine Empire, then you’ve only been the poor stain on the bottom of Europe for 600 years. I guess this long-dead glory is something to be marginally proud of, but it’s kind of like Mali resting on its laurels after the importance of Timbuktu. If nothing else, you certainly have a nearly unmatched record of free fall from prosperity and relevance.

As said before your inferiority complexes are staggering

You're CANADIAN. That means you're nothing. You live in a country that is a bad copy of something else and hasnt produced anything original.

You are a worm. That small in the world consciousness. You can keep masturbating with the commonwwealth importance btw.
I'd accuse you of writing gibberish too if you had a langauge of your own and tried to talk in another

Canada as is Greece are both "developed" countries. Greece with sacrifices that would have jetissoned your fake nation into nothingness from the first 5 seconds. Your charts may indicate differences but that means squat. And Canada remains a frozen wasteland full ofinferiority complex people as you have proven. not the earthly paradise that is Greece.

This is not my fault and not yours either. You were just born there. Keep amusing me however, I have fun talking with copies of peoples/nations no matter how worthless they are. You don't even give me an insentive to think of something original to say to you and have fun with. You're that unimportant. Sorry.
