Can't believe I'm the first one to say this:

    OMG Jon Stewart PWNZ anarchists!!!

There's a lot of intelligent anarchists, but a huge portion of them have their heads rammed far far far up their asses. Too bad individual anarchism mostly died off by the 1920s or has been misrepresented by libertarians, Benjamin Tucker et. al. got a lot of things right...

I know one intelligent anarchist...I never really agree with him but his opinions are obviously well thought out and a lot of times he even makes sense....

But the rest are kiddies. Boot them out of the Party, Comrade Guevara.

I know two intelligent anarchists: Bosh and Ramo. That's it.
Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish Zombie who was his own father can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree...

Since when is Bosh an anarchist?

I kind of meant personally. I hadn't thought of Bosh and Ramo--never really seen Bosh post about anarchism, but I have seen Ramo's posts about it, and I would include him in the List of Intelligent Anarchists.

Well there was this one extremaly intelligent anarchist back in college, but then he believed that Bush was behind 9/11. What it is about radical politics of all stripes that does strange things to peoples' brains?

It's not that anarchists or anarcho-syndicalists or whatever would be automatically stupid, it's just that lots of clueless kids these days like to label themselves as anarchists (because it's cool?). If those "anarchist" punks could be somehow shipped among anarchists in Spain during the Spanish civil war, they'd die within the first 2 weeks.

I think the process is in reverse. People with things wrong with their brains become radicals. I've met so many weird lefties.

My very first post on poly was a bunch of anarchist rhetoric and I spent most of my first year on poly mostly argueing about that (taking on five libertarians single handed etc. ) Haven't done it as much recently since I've moderated my ideas quite a bit, don't feel like expending the huge amount of time it takes to do a political debate properly and because my political ideas are in a bit of flux and I'm trying to straighten things out in my head, which is a bit hard since my knowledge of formal economics is a bit lacking (only four uni classes and assorted reading). But I'm still an anarchist, at least more or less, and I usually agree with about 90% of what Ramo posts.

Yeah good point. Same goes with ex-pats (leaving the country seems like a good way to run away from self-inflicted problems). If I met a commie ex-pat I'd run away screaming.
