I can't work out why CNN is so boring
They have this way of making every disaster seem dull and an anticlimax. They used a handful of reporters for the hurricane and the same faces reporting nothing a lot of the time really got my nerves.

CNN gets on my nerves in a number of ways. Piss poor reporting during the hurricane and aftermath.I came upon a barroom full of bad Salon pictures in which men with hats on the backs of their heads were wolfing food from a counter. Fox News reporters:
Shepard Smith and Geraldo (dork) are very frustrated. I've always liked Shepard Smith even though he works for the dark side. The reporters themselves are pissed but look at the ticker at the bottom talking about what "Bush is doing." Geraldo is doing his usual crap, he looks like a dork but that's Geraldo for you.
Shepard I know was dying to tell it like it is but he was afraid he would get cut off if he did so he had to cool it. He was also pissed at the commentator back in the studio who was trying to pitch the company line.

A lot of the crews were already there, before Katrina hit. Some of them had mentioned early on that they were low on, or out of, food and water.No, I did not steal that from somebody on Something Awful.Comment

That's true, and plus they don't have a wide variety of subjects like the BBC does. BBC has a good variety of international coverage.
