He was an absolutely vital part of an Ajax that won 4 Dutch titles, 3 Dutch cups (in a time when the Dutch competition still meant something), the Champions League, the European Supercup and the World Cup (for clubs), and was also runner-up in another Champions League final (losing to Juve only after penalties -- such is the faith of Dutch teams
) And that's only in the period '93-'99, he played an important part in Ajax's Champions League run of '02 as well (though it unjustly ended in the quarter final that time). And you're telling me he "can play in Europe but that's about it"?

IMO a star is someone who prances around like a nancy thinking they're the most important person in the world (like say David Beckam, one of the most overrated players in the world, but definitely a star), and that's not Jari, that's true.
