Apolyton Fantasy Football - League One - Discussion Thread
I'm happy with my team. Ron Brown was a little risky for a 6th round pick, but who knows what will happen. I was hoping he would have signed and stuff by now though.

I bet that Griese has a better year than Bulger. IIRC, his passer rating last year was higher than Bulger's.

I don't watch football either, but then my team's a joke, and now I work it means I can't stay up and listen to US forces radio like I did when I was a kid.
You can only get football on cable/satellite here, yet they used to have late-night games (for us ) on terrestrial telly not that long ago.
The 2004 NFL Postseason Player stat leaders on ESPN. Includes stat leaders in every category from passing and rushing to tackles and interceptions.
He had 336 attempts leading to 2,632 yards passing with 20 TDs and 12 INTs. Bulger had 485 attempts for 3,964 yards and 21 TDs and 14 INTs.
So Griese had 7.83 yards per attempt, while Bulger had 8.17 ypa. Griese had 16.8 att/TD, while Bulger had 23.1. Of course Griese had a higher att/INT as well, 28.00 compared to 34.64.
So if Griese had the same attempts that Bulger did (plausible considering that he's the starter since the beginning of the year), he'd have 3,797.55 yards, 29 TDs, and 17 INTs. That's quite a good QB.

Well, let's not forget that he replaced Chris Simms who replaced Brad Johnson. If Griese fails to deliver, he will get yanked quite quickly although Simms isn't very good... he's pretty awful actually.
But with a 97 passer rating, I don't think ole Chucky will yank him anytime soon. And because Simms is such crap, I don't think Griese has to worry if he has a bad 1st game.

I think all the Cleveland RBs are risks. Suggs (my pick), Droughns, Green. Basically its gambling that your pick wins the battle .
Smith, OTOH...
