You probably have some nasty spyware type program that got inserted right into your operating system. It's probably trying to have ads sent to you. For the life of me I can't see how the courts can NOT make that sort of thing illegal.

City from IP is what I look at. http://www.dnsstuff.com/
Add the IP to list of banned in firewall."In Italy for 30 years under the Borgias, they had warfare, terror, murder and bloodshed. But they produced Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci and the Renaissance. In Switzerland, they had brotherly love. They had 500 years of democracy and peace. And what did that produce? The cuckoo clock."

If your firewall is worth anything, it will flash a warning to you that an effort has been made to access your pc.
How often it flashes depends on level on which you set for notification.Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the moments that take your breath away.

He also hates Texans and Australians, he does diversify." ~ Braindead

Do routers have them?

If you suspect you have spyware I suggest you get a spyware program. There are several to choose from but I can personally recommend NoAdaware. To keep spyware off your pc to begin there are programs designed for that as well, SpywareBlaster being one of them. Microsoft now has a free spyware available http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en It's in a beta test right now but it's worth a try.One thing you gotta ask yourself... where are you now? -- James Blunt lyrics
