Wait, thinking back there might be some truth in the type of game played afterall. I remember playing a bit Omaha from time to time back then, might have been it... almost forgot that I played a few games of that type
Personally, I hate it, but there are a lot of people that specialise in it.
One really interesting game is omaha 8 or better
It's an Omaha game where the pot is split between the high hand and the low hand (except the low hand has to be an 8 or better to count, hence the name)
In Omaha that straight counts too, but it's very easy to misread your hand.
You have to use exactly two of your hole cards, so if you're holding 3 9 10 Q and the board comes A2458 then you do not have a straight. You have nothing.

That's one thing I'm sure about is not the case, since whenever I lose a hand I'm very sure about winning I always checks the winning hand a second time

Ahh, didn't know about that, thx. Does that rule apply for all poker games or just Omaha?
