The association between male circumcision and a reduced risk of HIV acquisition compared to uncircumsized males is not new knowledge. For me, the fun part is reading some of the fantastical attempts to explain it. Talk about science fiction!

A similiar connection has already been made between human papilloma virus (HPV) transmission and circumcision. Considering that certain forms of HPV cause cervical cancer in women (90% of men show no symptoms) this is no surprise.

My only guess is that the organisms get in the folds of the foreskin, and the prolonged contact makes catching the organism easier. Cleaning the male genitalia after sex also reduces the chances of some STD's, and circumcision makes it substantially easier to clean - note I didn't say it is impossible to clean a foreskin, but if you've just had sex, and are feeling sleepy, it would probably be much easier not to bother. I have also heard interviews with men who have had adolescent/adult circumcision (to fit in to American culture many years ago when having a foreskin was considered weird) and they reported a substantial loss in sensation, in fact one was quite bitter about it.

Depends where you get your porn from, my porn mostly comes from Europe where most are uncut.
