            Imran has a point.

            DaShi only has a passing knowledge of football and hasn't really seemed that bothered about the whole matter. Given these traits we MUST recommend he supports Manchester United

                                I you have no real clue at all, you shouldn't really leave the choice down to this bunch of maniacs.

                                Chose a league you can watch on a regular basis - unless you want to go local that'd probably be english, spanish or italian top leauges - do some quick research before each game you watch, read a few match previews and perhaps check out their website (if the have any you can read). That way you get some rudementary feel about the players and the club. That way your choice will grow out during the first season or so. Probably a lot better. You'll never be a real supporter anyhow, but you don't have to make a stupid decision.

                                (hint: if your newfound club ended up at the top third of the table, you didn't make the right choice.)
