None of my relatives have a favorite soccer team. I know some Irish folks here in China. What about their teams?

I didn't know we were a "sister city" (whatever one of those is) to Atlanta.
I know that we're twinned with Gelsenkirchen in Germany, but had never heard of an Atlanta connection. Still, it's already too late to switch allegiance from the Vikings to the Falcons.
By the way DaShi, once you choose then that's it. Absolutely for life. You are allowed to follow other teams (say you live somewhere miles away from where they play, and the local side isn't Man Utd), but they have to be your local team, and when they play YOUR team you have to support YOUR team only.

Nah, it's passed on with the genes. Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing?

what about that chinese second division side that gazza was meant to turn out for, they looked pretty useful
the irish don't have any decent football teams, they all support liverpool, man utd or celtic.
colon is right, football is something you grow (or are born) into, you tend to 'pick' a team when you're very young. for you i'd reconmend you watch some premiership games, and pick the team whose players and style of play appeal to you most."The Christian way has not been tried and found wanting, it has been found to be hard and left untried" - GK Chesterton.
"The most obvious predicition about the future is that it will be mostly like the past" - Alain de Botton

Dammit, a couple of months ago this thread could have been really fun.
