I agree that the people playing the villains were good in the Burton films, but Keaton was not the best choice for Batman, and the overall mood was not sinister enough- Burton has a more fantastical dark vision, as opposed to a nitty gritty violent darkness that is more in keeping with Batman.

I kind of blocked a lot of that movie out for obvious reasons . .

I remember the mind control TV thingy.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Killer Croc is smart enough to make a plan worthy of a movie. Clayface would be cool though but I dought they'd put him on screen though.Originally posted by GePap
In the age of CGI, Clayface would be a nice villian to use, or the crock.

 Some Bat-Villians I would like:
 Bane
 Joker and Harley Quinn
 Two-Face
 Poison Ivy
Scarecrow could even make for an interesting movie as well.I make no bones about my moral support for [terrorist] organizations. - chegitz guevara

Well more with the comic book and cartoon version of Batman. The live action TV show of Batman (where most people, I'd surmise, knew Batman from before the movies) was definitely not darkOriginally posted by GePap

I believe he is the villain in this flick.“I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.”

Clayface would be great in a movie!

Bane is a bit too single minded-not as much flair as some of the others.

I just hope they leave Robin out of it for as long as possible.

 Spoiler:
I guess DD has yet to see the current film from his list of villains

Interestingly, according to IMDB, the creator of the Batman comic books picked Keaton for the role (as project consultant). Adam West actually wanted to be itOriginally posted by GePap

He's on the loose and presumably could show up again in a major role rather than as a flunkie.Originally posted by Imran Siddiqui

 WHAT?!Originally posted by Boris Godunov
I certainly hope they don't do Mark Hamill for the Joker. His voice acting for him is waaaay too cartoony for a "gritty" film, and he doesn't have the right look at all.

That guy from the piano flick...Adrian Brody? I bet HE would make a good Joker.

No way, I can't see him being a good Joker, ever. Maybe the Mad Hatter, but Joker? If you don't like reality, change it! me
