I agree that the people playing the villains were good in the Burton films, but Keaton was not the best choice for Batman, and the overall mood was not sinister enough- Burton has a more fantastical dark vision, as opposed to a nitty gritty violent darkness that is more in keeping with Batman.

I kind of blocked a lot of that movie out for obvious reasons .

I remember the mind control TV thingy.

I think they wanted to return to the spirit of the tv series with the Schumacher movies. Bang! Pow! Pang!

Killer Croc is smart enough to make a plan worthy of a movie. Clayface would be cool though but I dought they'd put him on screen though.

          Some Bat-Villians I would like:
          Bane
          Joker and Harley Quinn
          Two-Face
          Poison Ivy
Scarecrow could even make for an interesting movie as well.

Well more with the comic book and cartoon version of Batman. The live action TV show of Batman (where most people, I'd surmise, knew Batman from before the movies) was definitely not dark .

I certainly hope they don't do Mark Hamill for the Joker. His voice acting for him is waaaay too cartoony for a "gritty" film, and he doesn't have the right look at all.

That guy from the piano flick...Adrian Brody? I bet HE would make a good Joker.

I believe he is the villain in this flick.

Clayface would be great in a movie!

Bane is a bit too single minded-not as much flair as some of the others.

I just hope they leave Robin out of it for as long as possible.

                      Spoiler:

I guess DD has yet to see the current film from his list of villains

The live action show of Batman was retarded -- their headquarters was LABELED with its different parts for christ's sake!!

Interestingly, according to IMDB, the creator of the Batman comic books picked Keaton for the role (as project consultant). Adam West actually wanted to be it .

He's on the loose and presumably could show up again in a major role rather than as a flunkie.

No way, I can't see him being a good Joker, ever. Maybe the Mad Hatter, but Joker?
