Well, England has beaten Australia in the most recent test, the most recent one-dayer and, now the most recent, well, whatever this is.

I wouldn't put the odds of their regaining the Ashes as 'high' perhaps, but I don't think they're insignificant either.
The problem with England is that they can have a tendency to choke in these situations.
