You mean, nobody outside of England, Australia, New Zealand, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, The Caribbean, South Africa, Kenya, Zimbabwe, or Sri Lanka cares.

It's an old British Empire game.... you Americans wouldn't understand.... 'cause you quit the club back in the 18th Century.

    QUITTERS!

If Cornwallis pwned you guys, you'd all be playing Cricket (and probably winning too).

Sorry mate, but there's a few words that just don't match.

Yes. One Day matches have 100 overs per game, 50 per team.

Hurrah. I'm still happy. Have the Oz posters nothing to say?

              I believe I said something.

... just don't get used to it, is all I can say.

Glad you at least got one win this summer, we're happy for you

If England can rise from the dead and make the Ashes competitive again that will be great.

What are the chances of that happening though?

Well, England has beaten Australia in the most recent test, the most recent one-dayer and, now the most recent, well, whatever this is.

I wouldn't put the odds of their regaining the Ashes as 'high' perhaps, but I don't think they're insignificant either.
The problem with England is that they can have a tendency to choke in these situations.

(I wonder if 'someone' will find that last amusing ... )

England choke? That has to be a Ravagon quote all right.

I might have a wager on the ashes - it's out best chance in 15 years even if not a particularly good one.

Given that an english victory over australia warranted a thread dedicated to it... I don't think the aussies are in hot water just yet
